MAGNUS Mr. Arnold Magnus of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 29, 2005, at the age of 63 years. Arnold was born on February 11, 1941 in Weisenburg, Germany. He came to Canada with his family in 1951 and lived in the Rocky Mountain House area since 1959. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 40 years, Edith; and his children, Sonja (Mike) Heck, Kurt (Jacquelyn) Magnus, Audra (Mike) Fuerbringer, Roger (Tannis) Magnus, Trevor (Shannon) Magnus; and seven grandchildren. His passing is also mourned by his brother, Harold (Diane) Magnus; two sisters, Gisela (Henry) Boschman and Vera (Gerald) Knopp and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, contributions in memory of Arnold, may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. A memorial service will be held at the Presbyterian Church, Rocky Mountain House, on Friday, February 4, 2005 at 1 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the Rocky and Sylvan Lake Funeral Homes.
