Marc REUTHER

September 17, 2004

REUTHER, Marc Mr. Marc Charles Ruether, beloved eldest son of Charles and Lynne Ruether of Red Deer, passed away suddenly as a result of a tragic motor vehicle accident near Macklin, Saskatchewan on Saturday, September 11, 2004 at the age of 21 years. Marc is also survived by brother Paul, sisters Nadine and Holly as well as brothers Kurt and Dean and his grandmother Matilda Ruether of Fairview, Alberta. He is predeceased by his grandparents William and Lillian Burborough of Nottingham, England and grandfather Joseph Ruether as well as his aunty (Godmother) Bernice. Marc will leave to mourn his passing his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends in Canada as well as England. Marc was born in Red Deer on Friday, December 24, 1982. Our first born Christmas son was a very happy and active child. He was quiet, sensitive and analytical. He had a strong will, but his strength was matched in kindness to all who knew him. At the age of 16 years, he displayed strong work ethics and was never afraid to take on a new challenge. He began work in the oilfield and his strong work ethic opened up opportunities to him. At the time of his passing, Marc was a part owner of a Flush-By service vehicle. He had a reputation for being highly motivated and loved the fast pace and the hours of work. Marc was successful beyond his years. As a family we were in awe of him and were so excited for his bright future. He worked hard but found time to enjoy life and friends, often spending three hours on the road to pop in and have a meal with his family only to return and be ready for work the next day. He was proud to be the oldest son and brother and was a great example to all of us. His family loves him very much and we will all be different without him.

Dear God, Marc knew You soon after he was born. He was confirmed in his faith and God You were in his life daily. Please take our son and by Your Grace watch over him forever until we meet again. Amen
