Margaret BRUYEA

June 30, 2006

BRUYEA Margaret Bruyea July 22, 1919 - June 26, 2006 On June 26, 2006 our family circle was broken with the passing of our Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Margaret Bruyea. She was born in the United States and came to Canada with her parents, Leonard and Edith Knight, to the Glendon, Alberta area where she was raised. Margaret had many interests but found time for making wedding bouquets and has played the piano for church and the nursing homes for many years. Gardening was another area mom loved. She leaves her family of five daughters and one son; Linda, Esther (Duane), Betty (Rick), Lenore (Dave), Fran and Leonard (Brenda), grandchildren; Tammy (Leo), Trevor (Tracy), Wendy (Jay), Kristine (Paul), Dennis (Dawn), Mike (Terry), Jason (Heather), Ken (Jennifer), Graham (Cassy), Matthew, Earl, Henry and Amy along with sixteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters; Eileen Johnson and Mildred Mulford and many nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her parents; Leonard and Edith, her husband, Gordon in 1982 and a son-in-law, Lew Holm. A Memorial Service will be held at the Red Deer Funeral Home (6150 - 67 Street) on Tuesday, July 4, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. with Captains Colin and Maureen Bain officiating. Instead of flowers the family requests donations to the Salvation Army (4837- 54 Street, Red Deer, Alberta, T4N 2G5) or the charity of your choice. Condolences can be sent to the family by visiting www.reddeerfuneralhome.com.
