Marguerite ASTLEY

ASTLEY, Marguerite Marguerite Astley of Red Deer passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Saturday, November 20, 2004 at the age of 91 years. Marguerite was born in Minburn, Alberta on March 3, 1913 to John and Amy Roland. She was a loving mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. Marguerite was a School Teacher all her life. She began teaching in the one room school houses in the Minburn area and finished teaching in Ponoka. Marguerite was a wonderful woman who loved her family and friends and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her four children; Jack (Babe) Astley of Peers, Alberta, Yvonne (Murray) Linnen of Kelowna, British Columbia, Rhyce (Norma) Astley of Red Deer, and Miles Astley of Red Deer as well as seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Marguerite was predeceased by her husband, Reginald Astley in 2000, her parents, one sister and three brothers. A Graveside Service will be held in Minburn, Alberta on Wednesday, November 24, 2004 at 2:00pm.
