STEENEVELD Marien 1985 - 2008 Marien Cornelis Steeneveld was born on July 29, 1985 in Nootdorp, Netherlands and was taken from us near Ponoka, Alberta on June 29, 2008 at the age of 22 years. Marien will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Jan and Marleen Steeneveld of Lacombe; his sister, Karin and her husband Berend Ridder and their son, Sem of Olds; his older brother, Arjan Steeneveld and his girlfriend Leah Sisson of Lacombe; his younger brother, Alex Steeneveld of Lacombe; his Oma, Janna Steeneveld of the Netherlands; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his Opa, Elderien Steeneveld; his Opa Cornelis and Oma, Adriana de Hoog all from the Netherlands. A Funeral Service will be held at the College Heights Seventh-Day Adventist Church on the campus of Canadian University College in Lacombe on Saturday, July 5, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in the Gull Lake Cemetery.
