KASHA Marion Irene On April 28, 2007, Marion Irene Kasha of Edmonton passed away at the age of 73 years. Marion is survived by her loving family, her husband of 54 years, Ron; daughter, Karolee (Larry) Zawislak; three sons: Keith, Kevin (Kim) and Kent (Linda); grandchildren: Zachary, Kaitlyn, Kieran, Kristof and Antonia; two sisters: Iva Woodward and Margaret (Emery) Grosland; as well as nieces, nephews and other family members.. She was predeceased by a son, Dale; her parents, Grace and George Woodward; brother, Lorne; and sister, Jean. Born Lamont September 21, 1933: Raised in Waskateneau until Grade 10; Moved to Lacombe and finished high school - met her lifelong sweetheart, Ron in a High School operetta & were married August 1952; Worked mainly in banking & accounting in Lacombe, Calgary & Regina & finished her career as Treasurer of the Regina Lions Junior Band Organization; Marion was a loving wife, raised four children; was excellent in sewing, knitting, fancy needlework and cooking; After retirement besides sewing and other hobbies, she enjoyed golf & spent 14 winters in Arizona. The Family wish to thank the Doctors, Nurses and staff at both the Cross Cancer Institute, Norwood Palliative Care and Misericordia Family Clinic. A Memorial Service will be held at Foster & McGarvey~ Edmonton Chapel on Monday, May 07, 2007 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Jack Towers officiating.
