MORTON Marion Donelda (Donna) September 3, 1947- April 22, 2007 Although the past year was difficult for Donna as she battled with cancer, she faced life with courage, love and a lively spirit. Donna passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 22nd. Donna is survived by her husband Ross Morton; her daughters Cheryl (Steve), Angela (Jim), and Heather (Ryan), and her two grandchildren Kelsey and Theoren. She is also survived by her brother Jim (Claire) Miller, nephew Kevin (Monica), niece Tammy (Tim) and numerous other relatives. Donna had many dear friends who will deeply feel her loss. Donna was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, a good friend, an excellent seamstress, a talented artist, and an avid gardener. She loved to travel -her two favourite trips in recent years were to Victoria, B.C. and China. Donna adored her little dog, Maggie. Ross and his daughters would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all the family, friends and neighbours who gave so much of their time and love to assist with Donna's daily care or brighten her day with a visit, a kind word, or a comforting gift. She will be missed by all who had the joy of knowing her. A memorial service will be held at Metcalf Funeral Chapel on Friday, April 27 at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation (1331 , 29th Street NW, Calgary, AB T4N 4N2) or to the Innisfail Hospital Palliative Care Room.
