DOCHERTY (Berg) Marjorie Evelyn Docherty (Berg) passed away peacefully in her home at the Bashaw Valley Lodge on March 14, 2008 at the age of 81 years. Marj will be missed by her six children: Rob (Letty) of Stettler, Allan of Erskine, Brenda of Fort St. John, B.C., Lorne (Anita) of Mirror, Cathy (Lorne) of Leduc, and Velma (Lorne) of Peachland, B.C. Marj (Gramma) also leaves to mourn her passing but to cherish their memories 11 grandchildren, 4 step- grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Abraham in 1986, sisters Alice and Velma and brothers George and Stan. "Mom has gone to be with Dad." A Funeral Service will be held at the Alix United Church on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta or to the Bashaw Valley Lodge.
