MORRISON, Marjorie Marjorie Doreen Morrison of Red Deer passed away at the Agapé Manor Hospice in Calgary on Thursday, August 12, 2004 at the age of 67 years. Marjorie worked in the laundry department of the Red Deer Regional Hospital for approximately 15 years until she retired. She found great enjoyment being involved with the Central Alberta Dancers where she had many friends. She also loved working on crafts and gardening. Marjorie will be lovingly remembered by her four sons and their families; Weldon (Deborah) Morrison of Calgary, Jim (Carol) Morrison and their children; Jessica and Kyle of Calgary, Dan (Tanis) and their children, Vance and Derek of Selkirk, Manitoba, and Mike Morrison of Calgary. Marjorie also leaves to mourn her loss, her mother, Rita Hughes of Ayers-Cliff, Quebec, two brothers; Lloyd Hughes of Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia, and Dale Hughes of Napanee, Ontario, one sister, Linda Beaudette of Sherbrooke, Quebec, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Marjorie was predeceased by her husband, George, in 2000, her father Maxwell Hughes, and her sister, Sandra Smith. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at the Red Deer Funeral Home (6150 - 67 Street) on Sunday, August 15, 2004 between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Sunnybrook United Church (12 Stanton Street) on Tuesday, August 17, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Paul Mullen officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations are strongly encouraged to Agapé Manor Hospice (1302 - 8 Ave NW, Calgary, Alberta, T2N 1B8).
