Mark Robert
Born January 9, 1960; Mark passed away peacefully in the hands of God on Monday, January 30, 2017, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital, (Palliative Care Unit.) after a brief battle with cancer. He was lovingly surrounded by his children Stephanie and Sean, and was in his 57th year. Mark was born and raised in Belleville, Ontario and later moved to Alberta as a proud member of the Canadian Armed Forces. Mark is predeceased by his mother Eileen (O'Neill) and father Leonard. He is also predeceased by his brothers, John Richard and Michael Francis, (surviving wife Renee); and his niece and nephew, Donna and Jake Gilmour. Mark is survived by his ever adoring children, Sean (Samantha) and Stephanie (Alexander) Ivanenko. And by his Grandchildren, Roman and Vitali (Tally); Keaston and Austin. Mark is also survived by his siblings Bernard (Beth), Brian (Molly), Tom (late Kathy), Danny, Rose Gilmour (Pat), Mary Mills (Greg), Patricia Kearney and Karen Harry (Mark.) Mark will be very fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A service of Christian burial will be held in Red Deer, AB on February 4, 2017, at Saint Nicholas Orthodox Church at 10 am. Timothy 2-V 4:7, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the Faith."
