MCCANN 1921-2008 Mr. Peter (Dan) McCann of Red Deer passed away peacefully with his family by his side, at the Red Deer Hospice, on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at the age of 86 years. Dan was born November 29, 1921 at Tonkin, Saskatchewan, to Thomas and Catherine (Fitzpatrick) McCann. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving daughter, Cathie of Mortlach, Saskatchewan; his loving son, Phillip (Bea) McCann of Calgary; two grandsons, Jason (Cathy) Langton and their children, Lian and Brandon of Moose Jaw, and Graham Langton and his children, Sheldon and Brooklyn of Mortlach, Saskatchewan; two granddaughters, Alana (Robert) Parker and their children, Kayla and Devon of Moose Jaw, and Erin (Todd) Bailey and their two sons Austin and Brayden of Medicine Hat, Alberta; his sisters in law, Vera (Spud) Lolato of Ottawa, Freda McCann of Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Dan was predeceased by his wife Gladys in 1997. A Prayers Service for Mr. Dan McCann will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapels, 4820-45 Street Red Deer, Alberta on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 6 McMillan Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, July 25, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be held at the Alto Reste Cemetery, Red Deer.
