McEACHERN, Catherine Eileen Cathy E. McEachern (Gessleman) succumbed to cancer on Sunday, July 17, 2005 at the age of 39. Cathy was born in Edmonton, Alberta on September 23, 1965. Cathy lived southeast of Lacombe and worked for the last 16 years at the Parkland Regional Library. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, long evening walks and anything outdoors. Predeceased by her father Billie Mills Gessleman, Cathy (Sassy) is survived by her loving husband of 15 years Derald, 2 sons; Michael (13) and Brycen (11), her mother Leona Gessleman of Lacombe, 4 brothers; Lawrence, Wendel, Gordon, and Cary, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at the Calvary Evangelical Free Church, Lacombe on Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at 2:00 PM.
