MCKINLEY Mr. Gerald Gordon Patrick ‘Gerry’ McKinley of Red Deer, passed away peacefully and quietly, after a lengthy illness, with his mother and sister by his side, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Thursday, July 7, 2005 at the age of 54 years. Gerry was born on August 25, 1950 at Brooks, Alberta. Gerry leaves to mourn his loss, his beloved mother, Frances McKinley, his loving sister, Jackie Simon, both of Red Deer, his niece, Stacey Brenson of Comox, British Columbia, his nephew, Scott Simon also of Red Deer, as well as his aunts, uncles and many special and dear friends. Gerry was predeceased by his father, Jack McKinley in 2002. Father and son are now reunited in God’s presence. Prayers will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 – 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 5508 – 48A Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation entrusted to the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta. Interment will follow where Gerry will be laid to rest with his beloved father at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Red Deer, Alberta.
