MCNAINY

March 22, 2005

MCNAINY, Mr. Patrick Owen ‘Pat’ McNainy of Red Deer, passed away suddenly on the Wyntjes Farm, doing what he loved on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at the age of 68 years. Pat was born on March 30, 1936 at Calgary, Alberta. He was a gentle and caring man with a giant heart. His warm smile and the sparkle in his eyes reflected the goodness within his heart. Pat loved animals of every kind and he was especially fond of caring and tending the baby calves on the farm. He arrived on the Wyntjes Farm in the Spring of 1968 and quickly earned the families love and respect. He has remained with them ever since. Pat took his agricultural training at the Michener Centre prior to his arrival. He was a great hand and took great pride in his work on the farm. Pat loved going quading. He was always ready to take the families grandchildren and any visiting children out for a ride on the quad. Pat loved to sit and visit and enjoyed being a part of family conversations. Pat will be very sadly missed but he will always be a part of our family in memory and spirit whenever we remember his warmth, his smile and his special gifts to this world. Pat leaves to mourn his loss, his father, Ed McNainy of Burnaby, British Columbia, his brother, Gerry McNainy of Red Deer, as well as his special friends, the Wyntjes Family and many other good friends. A Celebration of Pat’s Life will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapels, 4820 – 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at the Horn Hill Cemetery, Penhold, Alberta.
