MEISSNER On January 18, 2005, Kenneth Richard Meissner, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Vernon & District Hospice House after a merciless battle with cancer of the bone marrow. Ken was born in Innisfail, AB and lived with his wife and family on farms in Eckville, AB, Barriere, BC and Armstrong, BC. Ken pipelined his entire life and also was an avid hunter and fisherman. Ken is survived by his devoted wife and love of his life, Alice (Bittner); and sons, Tim (Jo-Anne) of Armtrong, Kim (Lou) of Cold Lake, AB, Chuck (Angie) of Rock Creek, BC; and daughter, Cindy (Kevin) Mitchell of Vernon, BC. Ken will also be lovingly remembered by his siblings, Barb, Rob and Lois; and especially by his pride and joy - his grandchildren, Matt, Mandy, Stacy, Steven, Kevin, Amber, Zack, Nicole, Amy, Amber, Kristi, Max and Nick. Memorial Service to take place on Saturday, January 22nd at 2:00 p.m. at Coldstream Meadows Chapel.
