BUEHLER Melvin Frederick It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Melvin Buehler at his home at the age of 77 years on Friday December 5, 2008. Mel was born in Consort, AB to John and Alvina . They moved to Vulcan, AB where Mel later met and married Mary-Lou Loose. Their 3 eldest children were born in Vulcan. After moving to various locations, they settled in Red Deer, where their family expanded with 4 more children. Mel worked at several jobs including surveying, but the majority of his employment consisted of driving truck. Mel will be deeply missed by his children Sharon (Calvin) Crawford of Mission, B.C., Randy (Shirley) Buehler of Olds, AB, Bryon (Gwen) Buehler, Kevin Buehler, Darren Buehler, Rhonda Miller, Rene Palin, and Melanie Simmons , all of Red Deer. Mel's memory will also be cherished by his 3 sisters, Gladys (Vic) of Vulcan, AB, Irene (Albert) of Calgary, AB, and Bertha of Coronation, AB. and his 3 brothers, Henry (Marg) of Edmonton, AB, Norm (Eileen) of Innisfail, AB, and Art of Red Deer. Mel also leaves behind to mourn his passing, his 15 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
