MORFITT Mr. Robert Fred Morfitt of Red Deer, Ab. passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital after a courageous battle of cancer at the age of 65 years. Robert is survived by his wife Rita of Red Deer; his mother Lillian of Olds; son James of Bowden and granddaughter Kaitlynn; daughter Norma (Justin) of Innisfail and granddaughter Paige. He is also survived by his step children Wayne (Caroline), Theresa (Grif), Allison (Wayne), Lisa (Phil), Tricia and three grandchildren. Robert was predeceased by his father Fred in 1998. Bob was born at Innisfail in 1942. He lived on the family farm and attended Bowden and Red Deer Composite High. He married Rita in 1990 and moved to Red Deer. Bob enjoyed fixing and building things. Farming was a passion of Bobs and he loved spending time with his grandchildren. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Alberta Cancer Society.
