Morris POOR

POOR Morris Robert 1956-2007 Morris Poor of Red Deer, Alberta, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 51 years. Morris was born to Glen and Bertha Poor, April 16, 1956 in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. Red Deer has been his home since 1969. Morris will be sadly missed by his "Purple Angel" wife Judy, his son Michael (Rhonda), his two daughters Jennifer and Stephanie, his precious grandson Joseph his mother Bertha and father Glen, his brother Evert (Gisele), his nieces Taylor (Sim), Courtney and grand niece Elizabeth and all of Judy's family. He was predeceased by his Uncle Edward, Aunt Jodie, Uncle Tony, Uncle Victor, maternal grandma Katie and paternal grandmother Mary and his and his beloved dog Queequeg. At the time of his passing, Morris was employed with Q2 Electric and was so very grateful for the support and friendship of Dan and Larry Quintillo, Devon Swainson and all of his coworker's. When not working, Morris enjoyed Native history, all kinds of music and making memories with his family and friends. Morris was known for his kindness and sense of humour. All who knew him were amazed by his great knowledge of the world and all of its mysteries. Those who wish can donate to the charity of their choice. A celebration of Morris' life will take place at St. Mary's Church at 6 McMillan Avenue on Thursday, May 24, 2007 at 10:30 a.m., mass to follow. Interment will follow at the Alto Reste Cemetery. Everyone is welcomed to a luncheon at St. Mary's Parish Hall after the interment.
