MUMFORD, Mrs. Edith Virginia Mumford of Red Deer, passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Friday, July 22, 2005 at the age of 86 years. Edith was born on June 9, 1919 at Gladmar, Saskatchewan. She and her late husband, George farmed near Red Deer for fifty years. Edith will be very sadly missed but lovingly remembered and forever cherished in the hearts of her family and many friends. Edith leaves to mourn her loss, her brother, Victor Bergquist of Dalmeny, Saskatchewan, her sister, Myrtle Grasser of Jaffray, British Columbia, as well as numerous other family members and dear friends. Edith was predeceased by her beloved husband, George, two sisters, Sigrid Blackmore and Alice Bergquist and two brothers, Eugene Bergquist and Clifford Bergquist. A Celebration of Edith’s Life was held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 – 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta. Interment was held at the Alto-Reste Cemetery, Red Deer, Alberta.
