NEALE C. John John Neale, beloved husband and best friend of twenty-nine years to Eileen Neale passed away suddenly at Escondida, California on Sunday February 4, 2007 at the age of 77 years. John was born on July 10, 1929 in Viking, Alberta. John was a wonderful man, a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and a true friend to all. His career spanned over forty years, all of which time he worked for Central Alberta Dairy Pool (Alpha Dairies). John retired as Marketing Manager in 1993, but continued to live a full and extremely active lifestyle. John's zest and enthusiasm for life and high energy kept him very busy. He enjoyed wine-making, gardening, handyman repairs, deep sea fishing, dancing and his beloved golf. He was golfing right up until his untimely passing. John was a member of the K40 club and the Masonic Lodge. John and Eileen enjoyed life fully for five months of each year in Phoenix doing everything together. John and Eileen loved to dance the jive and were known to be quite the item on the dance floor. He was a true gentleman and his kind and caring manner toward other made many friendships. "John was a profoundly loving man, who made others whole – he will be very deeply missed, his loving ways and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and dear friends forever". John leaves to mourn his loss, his loving and devoted wife Eileen of Red Deer, his children; Cathi Neale-Ward of Gull Lake, Linda Neale (Rod Lidberg) of Red Deer, Carolyn (Bruce) Cram of Airdrie, and Jaclyn (Dwight) Draker of Sherwood Park, his step-son, Balf (Louise) Armstrong of Australia, step-daughter, Laurie (René) Grande of Red Deer, his grandchildren, Jon Ward, Ben and Emily Cram, Jesslyn Peebles, Lauryn and Dylan Draker, Angus and Sean Armstrong, Allison, Alannah and Byron Grande. He will also be sadly missed by many dear and trusted friends. John was predeceased by his parents, John and Sarah Neale and a sister, Ellen Neale. A Celebration of John's Life will be held at Gaetz Memorial United Church, 4758 Ross Street, Red Deer on Monday, February 12, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Red Deer Cemetery.
