CAMERON, Neil Donald

Passed away April 3, 2017 in Innisfail, Alberta at the age of 65 years.
Born to Margaret and Ian Cameron March 8, 1952 in Elnora, Alberta. Neil was raised on a farm west of Elnora and went to school in Elnora, Delburne and Red Deer. On June 8, 1974 Neil married Cindy (Vermillion). After spending several years working in drilling operations Neil and Cindy decided to farm not far from where Neil grew up. Neil is survived by his wife Cindy, his four daughters, Leah (Mike), Jodi (Ryan), Jerri and Mindy (Keith) and Bailey, 11 grand-children, Connor, Kieran, Kaden, Evan, Tarynn, Georgia, Easton, Owen, Allie, Madison and Hannah. Neil grain farmed and ranched for 40 years in the Huxley area. He enjoyed his cattle, camping, skiing, riding horses, travelling, rodeos and chuckwagons as well as watching his grandchildren in all their many activities. Neil was an active member of the community, he spent many years as a 4-H leader, coached baseball and volunteered on the BramaRama committee. Neil and his family would be honored to see his friends and family at the Elnora Community Hall Friday April 14, 2017 at 3 pm to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation. Condolences may be sent to the family at sunsetltd.ca
