NICHOLS Mr. Randall Milford Nichols of Red Deer passed away at home, with family by his side on Thursday, October 18th, 2007 at the age of 65 years. His memory will be cherished by his beloved wife Carol of 44 years. He is survived by his son Gregory (Lorie), daughter Crystal (Jeff) Zinken and grandchildren: Aidan, Seth, Abby and Brooke. Randall's Mother Verna, Brother Sydney (Susan), Sister Delores (Keith) Fox and Sister-in-Law Sharon (Rod) Stephen will also dearly miss him. Randall will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was loved and supported by a caring community of friends in Willowdale as well as those he had coffee with at Patty's Restaurant. Dear friends, Bud and Donna Hamilton, Carl and Colleen Brockhoff, Jack Olson and Rob Schwartz were especially kind and supportive. Randall was predeceased by his Father Rodney, Sister Marjorie and Brother Russell. Randall's passion was the land he worked and the farm he loved. He will be lovingly remembered for his amazing sense of humour, his warm smile and his generous nature. Those wishing to gather with the family to Celebrate Randall's life are invited to join the family at Branch #35 of the Royal Canadian Legion, 2810 Bremner Avenue, Red Deer on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Randall's family wishes to express a special thank you to Randall's support group from Calgary; the ALS Society: specifically, Sue Darling Munro, Jane Rivest and Melinda Hatfield; Innisfail Home care: Estelle, Deanne, Darlene and Kit. He will be missed by his caregivers: Inoka Witharana and Greggy Dela Rosa.
