Two more sons blessed their family, Ray in 1940 and John in 1942. Otto then went to work on the Alaska Highway and area logging camps to supplement their income. They mixed farmed at first then specialized in dairy and were proud of their herd of Ayrshires. They had are very good helpful neighbors and always enjoyed visiting and playing cards. Otto and Alice moved to Eckville in 1981 and in 2003 relocated to Eckville Manor where they made many good friends. Otto is survived by his loving wife of 74 years Alice, his children Elsie (Leo) Ziola, Lee (Marjorie), Ray (Eileen) and John (Louise); his 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; one brother Armas and one sister Saima and several nieces and nephews all in Finland. A private family graveside will be held at a later date. Cremation entrusted to the Rocky Mountain Crematorium, Rocky Mountain House.
