HAAKONSON Our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother Elizabeth Haakonson passed away peacefully on Monday October 9, 2006 at the Lacombe Community Health Care Centre at the age of 97 years. Elizabeth will be sadly missed by her four children, Gladys (Garry) Jeglum of Clive, Elmer (Linda) Haakonson of Lacombe. Arnold (Shirley) Haakonson of Lacombe and Adeline (Richard) Bellerive of Lacombe as well as 15 grandchildren and their spouses and 26 great grandchildren and their families. She is also survived by her sisters, Annie Rau of Daysland, Emily Sieben and Lena Buchholz of Saskatoon, Mary Bowes of Macklin, Sask., brothers Adam (Elsie) Schonheiter of Lacombe, John (Ursula) Schonheiter of Strathmore, AB, Joe (Lena) Schonheiter of Lloydminister, AB. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Barnie Haakonson in 1993, her mother and father, two sisters and two brothers. Funeral Services will be held from Wilson's Funeral Chapel, 6120 Highway 2A, Lacombe on Friday, October 13, 2006 at 1:00 PM.
