HUMENY, PATRICIA ANNE (nee Wilkinson) Patty was born in Wainwright, Alberta March 19th, 1954. She passed away at the Red Deer Hospital on December 18, 2005 at the age of 51. Funeral services were held at the Blessed Sacrament Church on December 21, 2005 with Father Raymond Guimond officiating. In 1997, Patty transferred to Red Deer to be closer to her daughter, Shiona and her husband, James. In 1997, Patty' s health started to decline and she had a life saving liver transplant. Life was good for awhile and her first grand daughter, Tegan was born, followed 3 years later by grandson, Rylan. She went into renal failure and would have to have dialysis 3 times a week and again was put on the organ donation list. Patty spent most of last year in the Red Deer hospital and made many friends from doctors, nurses, security, to fellow patients. Whether it was a hug, a gift or a sympathetic ear she was there for us. Patty will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Predeceased by her parents, Bill and Margaret, she leaves to mourn her daughter Shiona, son-in-law James, grandchildren Tegan and Rylan, sister, Maureen and (Steve) Pelkey, brother, Dan and (Bev) Wilkinson, brother Greg Wilkinson, Aunt Nora, also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
