Paul ELLINGHAM

November 16, 2006

ELLINGHAM Paul Anthony Ellingham of Edmonton, Alberta went to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ Oct. 25 2006 in London, England surrounded by his entire family. Paul was 57 years old but had put so much into his life in those years. Paul leaves to miss him, his friend of 38 years and mother of his four children, Cheryn Ellingham, his two sons, Paul Ellingham Jr. and Zac Ellingham (Allison) both of Edmonton, his twin girls Zoe Ellingham (Deryck) also of Edmonton and Zara Wattenbarger (Dean) of Red Deer. Paul loved so many things, 8 of them were his grandchildren which will miss their banjo playing, story telling papa very much. Paul also is survived by his 6 sister, 1 brother and numerous aunties and uncles and family all of England. Paul was a member of the Irish Society of Edmonton and was cherished by them and by all who knew him for his musical talents which included the banjo, guitar ukulele, harmonica and his singing. Paul was also an avid hunter and fisherman and this is one of the biggest reasons he fell in love with Canada...it's wide open spaces full of nature. Paul immigrated to Canada in 1976 with his wife and 4 young children to provide a better life for them, and that's exactly what he did. Paul will never be forgotten for his sometimes embarrassing British humour, relying on John Cleese impersonations to help out. Oh how he made us laugh till we ached. If you knew Paul Ellingham you were a lucky git. And for those avid hunters out there, it's hunting season... so if you can, go get a buck for my Dad. On Friday, November 17th, there will be a celebration of Paul gingham's life at the Irish Sports and Social Society 12546 - 126 St. Edmonton, Alberta, Canada T5L 0X3. All who knew and loved him are welcome. His funeral took place on Nov. 03, 2006 in London, England.
