HEMMINGWAY Paul Richard Hemmingway of Lacombe, AB was taken suddenly on August 11, 2008 at the age of 46. Born on January 18, 1962 in Spirit River, AB and raised on a dairy farm east of Rycroft. Paul was a loving husband and best friend to his wife Shauna, who he told he loved everyday. He was also a dedicated father to Kaily, Kelsey, and Mason. His family always was put first and was the most important accomplishment of his life. Paul was a jack of all trades. He began his career in the oil and gas industry. Paul bought his first seismic rig and began Hemmingway Drilling. He was honest genuine and had a great sense of integrity. Paul worked hard but played harder. He was the life of the party and the first to make you smile. Life was entertaining with Paul. He made you cherish the simple things. He had many hobbies including golf, baseball, hockey, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family and friends. Paul coached many of his children 's sports teams and was a mentor and role model for many. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Paul is survived by brothers John Hemmingway (Lenore), Ernest Hemmingway (Colleen), sisters Lauranne Hemmingway (Hugh), and Leslie Stewart (Rod) and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Service to be held at Wilson’s Funeral Chapel, 6120 Highway 2A, Lacombe, AB. on Friday August 15, 2008 @2 pm. Cremation will follow. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to subject Hemmingway.
