GELINAS, Paul Roger
Passed away peacefully on Jan 13, 2017 at the age of 98 years at St. Mary's Health Care Centre in Trochu, AB. He was born near Cardston, AB, Oct 04, 1918, the second of 12 children. Dad served with the Headquarters Sqadron, 4th Canadian Armoured Division during WWII. After the war, he farmed until retiring at age 94 when he and Mum moved into Trochu. Dad is survived and will be missed by his loving wife, Beryl (Vickery); children, Paulette Gelinas (Garry Tetz); Ernest (Ann) Gelinas, Lyle (Beverly) Gelinas and by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Andrew (Lesley) Tetz, Tristan and Karyssa; Steven (Tricia) Tetz, Logan (Cameron), Kegan and Calli; David (Sarah Huff) Tetz, Landon and Gavin (and their mother, Stefanie); Shauna (Shawn) Diggins, Kylie and Avery; Christina (Richard) Hoppins, Ella, Bailey and Kathryn; Clayton (Kathy) Gelinas, Alexis and Rylan; Clifford (Sonja) Gelinas, Kaitlyn and Katrina. Dad is also survived by brothers, Roger (Joyce), Roland (Meg) and Johnny. It was Dad's wish to donate his body to the U of C School of Medicine and he requested there be no funeral. The family plans to have a Celebration of Paul's Life at a future date.
