OLIVER Penny Adele (Leckie) Penny Adele (Leckie) Oliver, loving mother, grandmother, wife and friend, passed away suddenly on May 11, 2008 at the age of 59. Penny was predeceased by her best friend and husband, Dale, her mother, Doris, and her sisters Janice and Lynne. She is survived and will always be dearly loved and remembered by her daughter, Dawn, her son, Mark and his wife, Marie-Claude and the apple of their grandmother's eye, her grandchildren Matthew, Meghan and soon to be third. She is also survived by her father Harold (Joan), her sister Andrea (Terry), her brothers Kirk (Corrine) and Bard (Dorali), her brother-in-law Dwight (Donna), nieces and nephews Melissa (Kurt), Mavis (Wayne), Lorne (Crystal), Michael, Corey (Robyn), Ernest, Aaron (Kim), Dallas (Lisa), Jason (Tracy), Raymond (Jennifer) and Vincent and all of their families. She will also be deeply missed by her extended family, many friends, and the staff and students of Caroline School where she worked for over 35 years. A Memorial Service for Penny Oliver will be held on Monday, May 19th, at 2:00 p.m. from the Kurt Browning Complex, Caroline, Alberta with Pastor Jason Sedore Officiating. A private family interment will be held from the Caroline Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Penny's memory made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Autism Calgary Association.
