ORCHYK, Peter Mr. Peter 'Raymond' Orchyk, beloved husband of Mrs. Rose Orchyk of Red Deer, passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Thursday, January 27, 2005 at the age of 64 years. Raymond was a loving husband and a devoted family man who loved his children and grandchildren very much. He was especially proud of his grandchildren. Raymond was a strong man who courageously but quietly fought a long and hard battle with illness before his passing. Raymond will be very sadly missed but lovingly remembered and forever cherished in the hearts of his family and dear friends. Raymond leaves to mourn his loss his loving wife of thirty-two years, Rose of Red Deer, his daughters; Robin (Peter) Petropoulos, Tammy Orchyk (Greg, friend) and Tanya Orchyk (Shawn, fiancé), all of Calgary, Alberta, Kelly Orchyk (Donnie, friend) of Red Deer and his son, Chad Orchyk of Medicine Hat, Alberta and his grandchildren; Alyssa, Zachery, Taylor Dawn, Dylan and Hayden. Raymond will also be sadly missed by his brother, Don (Doris) Orchyk of Winnipeg, Manitoba and his sister, Fay (Roger) McIvor of Elm Creek, Manitoba, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Raymond was predeceased by his parents and a daughter, Bonnie. A Celebration of Raymond's Life will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapels, 4820 - 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor John Smith officiating. Interment will follow at the Alto-Reste Cemetery, Red Deer, Alberta. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. White, Dr. Keiser and the Medical Staff of Calgary for the care given to Raymond over the years and would also like to say a special thank you from the heart to Dr. Jim, Dr. Abraham, Dr. Brodie and to our Medical Family at the I.C.U. of the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre.
