PETRIE, 1915- 2007 Mr. David John Petrie, beloved husband of Mrs. Viola Petrie of Red Deer, passed away peacefully at the Valley Park Manor Nursing Home, Red Deer on Sunday, November 18, 2007, at the age of 92 years. David was born on November 6, 1915 at Pennant, Saskatchewan. He lived in Lloydminister for 46 years before moving to Red Deer in 1996. David worked in the oil patch in Lloydminister and as farmer and mechanic in Pennant. He was an avid curler who had a love for all sports and animals. David is survived by his loving wife, Viola Petrie, two sons, David Terry (Jo-Ann) Petrie of Orem, Utah, Rodney Petrie of Red Deer, two daughters, Patricia (Ross) Arnfinson of Red Deer, Vivian (Doug) Tobler of Lloydminister, Saskatchewan, eighteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his mother, father, a sister and a grandson. A Funeral Service will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820-45 Street, Red Deer, on Friday, November 23, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. Cremation entrusted to Central Alberta Crematorium.
