CUNNINGHAM, Phyllis 1917-2008 It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Phyllis Grey Cunningham peacefully at the Lacombe Hospital Care Centre on April 19, 2008 at the age of 90 years. Phyllis was born on September 16, 1917 at Durham, England. Her spirit will live on with those of us who loved her and will be forever missed by family and friends. Phyllis will be lovingly remembered by her husband Tom and leaves to mourn, 2 sons: Robert (Carol) of Red Deer, Barry (Ena) of Gull Lake, 2 daughters, Barbara (Neil) Kingdon of Calgary, and Brenda (Dan) Taylor of Cranbrook, BC. Her loving memory will also be cherished by her 8 grandchildren: Tim and Kelly of Calgary, Brent (Rebecca) of Elnora, Curtis (Paulina) of Red Deer, Tricia of Blackfalds, Lee of Kelowna, BC, Sarah and Kelsey of Cranbrook, BC; 2 step grandchildren, Tamara (Michael) of Chilliwack, B.C. and Terri (Andrew) of Toronto, Ont., as well as 5 great grandchildren: Tyler, Madison, Colby, Bergen and Julia, and 2 step grandchildren, Jaycee and Matthew. Phyllis is also survived by her sister, Joyce Herbert of Osoyoos, BC; several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Phyllis was predeceased by her son Brian and her sister Minnie Cunningham as well as many extended family members. A memorial service in celebration of Phyllis's life will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Cyprian's Anglican Church, 5005 C&E Trail, Lacombe, Alberta with The Reverend Laura J. Hermakin officiating. Internment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Phyllis's honour may be made to the Lacombe Palliative Care Society, Box 5576, Lacombe, Alberta T4L 1X2 or to the Alzheimer’s Society (Research), 10531 Kingsway Ave. Edmonton, AB T5H 4K1.
