SHEPPARD Phyllis Jane With Deepest Sympathy we announce the passing of Phyllis Jane Sheppard of Red Deer. She passed peacefully away in Valley Park Manor Nursing home the morning of November 6 at the age of 88 years. Born November 26, 1919 in Morningside, AB. She will be remembered by her 3 brothers, Ross (Alma) Sheppard, Denny (Hazel) Sheppard, Lloyd (Marion) Sheppard, her 2 daughters Donna (Kevin) Verbonac, Rosa Galbraith, her two granddaughters Bambi-Jane (Jason) Kom-Tong, Cherise Verbonac, her great grand-son Zackary Kom-Tong, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. Phyllis' main focus in life was her family and friends. She was a loving and caring women who opened her home and her heart to many people over the years and she was loved by many. She was a devoted Christian and member of the Westpark Church of the Nazarene. Her love and warmth given to all will never be forgotten A celebration of Phyllis' life will be held on Tuesday November 11, 2008 at Westpark Church of the Nazarene at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to The Women’s Shelter.
