TRACHY Phyllis Trachy of Red Deer passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on July 1, 2006 at the age of 83 years. Phyllis was born in England, she came to Canada in 1946 as a war bride and resided in Quebec. Later she moved to Verona & Enterprise, Ontario where she raised her family. Phyllis retired with her husband and moved to Red Deer in the early 1990’s where she spent her time “crusin’ the mall”, gardening and most importantly spending time with her family. Phyllis will be lovingly remembered by her two sons; Rick (Jeanne) of Red Deer and Roy (Beverly) of Enterprise, Ontario, one daughter, Marian Ashton of Red Deer, her grandchildren; Donna (Ken) Toupin of Red Deer, Jeff (Tracy) Steacy of Red Deer, Laura (Mike) Wismer of Edmonton, Alberta, Darren (Vivian) Steacy of Red Deer, Linda of Ontario, Shanna of Ontario, Mark Trachy of Ontario, Paula Trachy of Enterprise, Ontario, Cheryl Trachy of Enterprise, Ontario, Norman Trachy of Enterprise, Ontario, Stanley Kierstead of Kingston, Ontario, Adam (Anitra) Kierstead of Red Deer, Milissa of Kingston, Ontario, Chantel of Red Deer, special friend, Cora, Jessie Ashton of Red Deer, her four step-grandchildren; Jamie, Ruby, Lorne and Kelly of Red Deer, twenty great grandchildren and one brother, Douglas (Eve) Wheatland of England. Phyllis was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Ulric (Rick), her daughter-in-law, Barbara Trachy and her son-in-law, Dale Ashton. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Red Deer Funeral Home (6150 67 Street).
