POLIS 1924 - 2008 Mrs. Paula Regina Polis of Red Deer, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at the age of 84 years. Paula was born on April 9, 1924 at Dapp, Alberta. She is survived by her two daughters, Sandra Polis of Red Deer, Alberta, Kim (Evan) Palmer of Chilliwack, British Columbia, her two sisters, Anne Filan of Edmonton, Alberta, Elsie (Elwood) Fyten of Bowden, Alberta, a brother Jul Hermanutz of Edmonton, Alberta, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband George Polis and a brother Joe Hermanutz. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 6 McMillan Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Red Deer Cemetery. Cremation entrusted to the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer.
