PRINCE 1928 - 2008 Mr. John "Jack"” W. Prince of Rimbey, Alberta passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2008 at the age of 79 years. Jack was born in Meskenaw, Sk. on November 13, 1928. In later years, he lived briefly in Creston, B.C. and in Calgary, settling near Red Deer where he farmed for several years. Later, Jack relocated to the Homeglen District where he continued to farm and ranch. Jack will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Ev; and his children, Terri (Allen) Dodd; Joan (Larry) Robinson; Robert Prince; Brian (Tammy) Prince; and Jeff (Jessica) Prince, all of Red Deer; eight grandchildren; and one great grandchild. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Sylvia Prince of Red Deer; his sister, Betty (Cliff) Morrow of Ponoka; and Ev's son, Rob Irving of Kamloops, B.C. Jack was predeceased by his brother, George in 1998; and his special step-daughter, Laverne Irving in June, 2006. A Public Memorial Service in Celebration of Jack's Life will be held at the Rimbey Church of the Nazarene, on Friday, January 11, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Dick Duffin officiating. Cremation took place at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer If friends desire, memorial tributes in Jack's Memory may be made directly to the charity of one's choice.
