PUZEY 1928- 2008 Mr. Henry William Puzey, of Holden, Alberta formerly of Red Deer, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, February 14, 2008 at the age of 79 years. Henry was born on May 29, 1928 at Red Deer. He loved all sports, whether it be rooting for his favorite sports team or participating in them himself. Being the outdoors man that he was, hunting and fly fishing were his two greatest passions. From his early years on the farm, Henry enjoyed working with cattle and upon his retirement was once again able to enjoy a cattleman’s life. His career as a grain buyer enabled Henry to remain active in the farming community. He was a well educated, well rounded gentleman with integrity, who was always willing to lend a hand to those who needed it. Henry loved his family and was always there for them. There was nothing he would not do for his kids. He is survived by two daughters, Marlene (Kim) Mykyte of Redwater, Alberta, Penny Becker of Sherwood Park, two sons, Dan (Puzey) of Sherwood Park, Daryl (Caralee) Puzey, a brother, Vernon (Anita) Puzey both of Red Deer, two sisters, Nancy (Frank) Radau of Bowden, Alberta, Mary Glover of Red Deer, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820-45 Street, Red Deer on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation entrusted to Central Alberta Crematorium. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Henry's honour may be made directly to the Central Alberta Cancer Centre, 3942-50A Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta, T4N 6R2.
