READ, Terry-Dawn Terry-Dawn Read was born on July 17, 1951 in Lacombe to Howard and Enid Hand. Terry-Dawn entered into the presence of her Lord, on Friday, August 13, 2004 at the Red Deer Hospital after a battle with heart disease and cancer. Terry-Dawn lived in Lacombe until she was 13 and then moved to Red Deer. She graduated from Red Deer Vocational High School, second highest mark in her class of 1969. She married Dave Read May 19, 1973 and later moved to Lethbridge, Edmonton, and Stony Plain where she resided for 17 years. In 1982 she was blessed with the birth of Melanie. In 1995 the family moved to Winnipeg where the family currently resides. Besides her loving husband and daughter, she is survived by her brothers, Randy (Shelly) Hand and family of Lacombe, Jody (Nancy) Hand and family of Spruce Grove, her mother-in-law Margery Read of Red Deer, brother-and sister-in-law Richard and Linda Bridger of Red Deer and their family. She was predeceased by her father Howard in 1969 and mother Enid in 1992. A Celebration of Life for Terry-Dawn Read will be held at Parkland Funeral Home on Thursday. August 19, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bob Opperman officiating.
