Robb SHERWIN

June 28, 2006

SHERWIN Robb Stuart Wapi Muscowa “Patch” Sherwin passed away peacefully of diabetic complications on Sunday, June 25th, 2006 at his home in Red Deer, Alberta at the young age of 39 years. Robb was born in Westlock, Alberta on October 11th, 1966. He was given for adoption by his mother, who was unable to care for him, and joyfully received, and is now survived by, his loving and devoted parents Zpamela and Deavid Sherwin of Shawnigan Lake, BC and his sister Farah (Theron) Blackmore of Blackfalds, AB. Robb was blessed to have been reunited with his birth mother Betty Ann Bird of Christopher Lake, SK and to become a “big” brother to Marty, Tina, Sheldon and Jolee. The one true love of his life and his reason for living was the never ending love, care and concern of his daughter, Danielle of Calgary, AB. Robb’s second love in life was playing pool in various leagues in Red Deer and the people that he was able to meet and spend time with while doing so. He was thrilled when his dream of owning and operating his own pool hall, “Patch’s Place” in Red Deer was realized. Even though health did not allow him to continue with this business or allow him to even be able to play the game that he loved, the memories of the people and his experiences helped to carry him though. He will also be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his nieces Davena (Ken), Shari, and Jenna (Joel) and his great nephews Brandon and Logan. As a family we want to extend a special “Thank You” to Dr. D. Thiessen, Dr. K. Jim and all the staff at the Dialysis Unit, Emergency Care Facility and all the Units that Robb received such wonderful care and attention throughout his many, many visits to the Red Deer regional Hospital Centre. With you and your care and compassion, we know that Robb’s time in our lives may not have been as long. We would wish that memorial donation be directed to the David Thompson Health Region Foundation, Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, P O Bag 5030, Red Deer, AB, T4N 6R2. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 – 67 A Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, June 30, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Condolences can be forwarded to the family at www.parklandfuneralhome.com In living memory of the Late Robb Stuart Wapi Muscowa “Patch” Sherwin, a tree will be planted in the Parkland Memorial Tree Park.
