Robert Bruce Fitzgerald
Aug. 18, 1966 - June 16, 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rob Fitzgerald, after a courageous year long battle with cancer.
He passed surrounded by his loved ones at the Red Deer Hospice Society.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Carole Fitzgerald his children Sean, Christie, Derrick, Melaine, Nathalie, Amy, Kaithey, his 13 grandchildren. His mother Helen and Step father Bob, brothers Ed, Darcy, James & his many family and friends. He was predeceased by his father Donald and sister Kathy.
Rob had a zest for life, and a great love for family. He made a legacy with custom fire pits and had a passion for hunting, fishing & travelling.
Our family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Red Deer Hospice Society, Ontario Cancer/Palliative Care & all the Doctor's and Nurses that cared for Rob during his fight with cancer.
A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, June 25th at 11:00am at the Sylvan Lake Legion - 4916 50 Ave.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Red Deer Hospice Society/Red Deer Lending Cupboard.
