COSSEY Robert James (Bob) Cossey of Innisfail passed away on May 22, 2007 at the age of 83 years. Bob was born in Innisfail on August 3, 1923. He lived his entire life in Innisfail except for the years he was in the Air Force stationed in the Maritimes. In his early years, he helped with the family dairy business. He owned his own electrical business for many years. In 1950, he married Ida Slette and they raised 4 children. Bob enjoyed woodworking, camping, bowling, curling and cards. He was a hobby farmer raising rabbits, cows, bantams, pigeons and exotic birds. He had a great sense of humor and a good attitude, even when his health was failing. He is survived by his children Ardis (Charlie) Bourque of Fairbanks, Alaska, Becky Cossey of Innisfail, Glenn (Cindy) Cossey of Innisfail and Bonny (Dietmar) Bruestle of Red Deer and 7 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Edna Ritten and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Flossie and Hugh Cossey and his wife Ida Cossey. If friends so desire memorial tributes may be made to the Parkinson's Society of Alberta, (11111 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, AB. T5K 0L4) or to the Rosefield Centre, (5023 42nd Street, Innisfail, AB. T4G 1A9). A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2007 at 2:00pm at St. Mark's Anglican Church (4915 52nd Street, Innisfail). Interment to follow at the Innisfail Cemetery.
