TAYLOR Robert Stephen "Uncle Bob" 1931 - 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bob Taylor - October 20, 2008. Bob was born at the family farm east of Carstairs, Alberta on December 26, 1931 to John and Hortense Taylor. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his sisters, Elizabeth Taylor, Elinor (late Stefan) Harasim, Lorraine Taylor, Bernice (Jack) Morrison of Calgary, AB and Grace (Jim) Weeks of Bakersfield, CA. Brothers, Late Harvey (Dora) Taylor and Roger (late Donnita) Taylor of Carstairs, AB. Uncle Bob will also be greatly missed by 17 nieces and nephews and 24 great nieces and nephews from Calgary, Carstairs, Sylvan Lake, Red Deer and Condor AB; Baden, Ontario; and Bakersfield, CA. Bob enjoyed traveling extensively throughout Alberta, visiting friends along the way. He also enjoyed his travels through Western Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Family and friends always looked forward to seeing Uncle Bob's green truck coming down the street. At Bob's request there will be no service held. A private family gathering will be held in his honor.
