Roy OSLANSKI

OSLANSKI Roy Oslanski of Red Deer passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Thursday, May 26, 2005 at the age of 64 years. Roy was born in Lethbridge on July 6, 1940 to Andrew and Margaret Oslanski. He worked as an Electrician for 44 years. Roy loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He also spent a lot of time on his beautiful flower beds. Roy enjoyed working with his hands and was good at woodworking. When it came to parties and large gatherings, Roy was always very social and loved a good time. He was always the first one to arrive and the last one to leave. Family was the most important thing to Roy, and spending time with them meant a lot to him. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Roy will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Iris; two sons, Troy Oslanski and Shane Oslanski; and one daughter, Tawnee (Braden) Kilpatrick, all of Red Deer. He is also survived by his brother, Ron (Terry) Oslansky; and nephews, Lane Oslanski and Vance (Karen) Oslanski; along with their children, Cody and Matthew all of Calgary; as well as his brother, Jack (Darlene) Oslanski of Okotoks; and nieces, Janan Oslanski of Lacombe and Jackie (Brent) Talsma along with their son, Jaxon also of Lacombe. Also left to mourn his loss is one nephew, Trevor (Tracy) Airey of Calgary; and one brother-in-law, Clarence Airey of Calgary; and numerous nieces and nephews. Roy was predeceased by his parents and his sister. A Prayer Vigil will be held at the Red Deer Funeral Home (6150 – 67 Street) on Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church (3715 – 39 Street) on Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Father Joseph Dephoff, Celebrant.
