It is with deep regret, we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Mrs. Ruth Lucille Harris of Red Deer at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at the age of 88 years. Ruth leaves to mourn her loss, her loving daughters, Sharen (Rick) Feth and Lynne Pheifer, both of Red Deer and Judy (Bryan) Hacon of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by her brother, Lawrence Gibson of Edmonton, Alberta. Ruth was predeceased by her brother, Kenneth Gibson. A Celebration of Ruth's Life will be held at the 2300 Club, Davenport Place, 2318 Danielle Drive, Red Deer, Alberta on Monday, October 11, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation entrusted to the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta. In place of flowers, Memorial Donations in Ruth's honour may be made directly to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 101, 5208 - 53rd Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta, T4N 5K2.
