It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Ruth Louise Jones at the Red Deer Hospice on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at the age of 73 years. She was a loving devoted, wife, mother, grandmother, and a special friend to many. Ruth passed away peacefully in the loving company of her family. She will be missed by all that knew her. Ruth was born in Kamloops, British Columbia on November 10, 1943, where she grew up. She was united in marriage to William Ernest Jones and following their retirement they enjoyed summers at Care Free Resort at Glennifer Lake, and winters at Yuma, Arizona. Besides her loving husband of fifty-four years, William, Ruth is survived by her two sons, Rocky and his wife, Susan and Sheldon and his wife, Rachelle; his daughter, Tammy Jones and her husband, Jason Wiley; three grandchildren, Dylan Jones of Red Deer, Chelsey Jones of Calgary, Alberta and Katherine Jones, of Red Deer. She will also be sadly missed by numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. Ruth was predeceased by a daughter, Shannon in 1975.
