WESTMAN, Ruth Westman of Red Deer, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by those who loved and cared for her, on Sunday, May 8, 2005 at the age of 79 years. Ruth was born on October 24, 1925 at Brightview, Alberta. Ruth was a very special loving and caring lady, whose bright sunny smile would light up the room. She loved visits from both her family and friends. Ruth also loved to travel and she enjoyed trips to the Caribbean, Las Vegas and Victoria, where she enjoyed and watched the whales. She loved get togethers with friends and going on trips to the Innisfail Farmer’s Market. Ruth especially enjoyed Dinner Theatre and plays with her friends, as well as the many numerous activities such as her church and dinners with friends. Ruth’s love toward her family, friends and caregivers and the special joy she brought to this world will be very sadly missed but forever remembered and cherished in the hearts of those who loved her. Ruth leaves to mourn her loss, her nieces, Darlene Deacon of Ryley, Alberta, Sherry Westman of Edmonton, Alberta and her nephew, Gary Westman of Tofield, Alberta. She will also be very sadly missed by her family, caregivers, guardian and many special friends. Ruth was predeceased by her parents and siblings.
