SETTERS, September 6, 1931- December 26, 2006 Mr. Patrick Fitzgerald 'Pat' Setters, beloved husband of Mrs. Donna Setters of Penhold, Alberta, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at the age of 75 years. Pat was born on September 6, 1931 at Mirror, Alberta. He moved to the farm in Penhold in 1975. Pat was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and a trusted friend. He loved his family very much and loved to participate in his children's and grandchildren's activities, especially going to watch his grandchildren's hockey games. He also enjoyed his Saturday night dancing, golfing and hobby farming with his cows and baling hay. Pat will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered and cherished in the hearts of his family and dear friends. Pat leaves to mourn his loss, his loving wife of fifty years, Donna Setters of Penhold, Alberta, his children; Audie (Susan) Setters of Houston, Texas, Susan (Norman) Scott of Penhold and Paddi (Doug) Thompson of Red Deer, his grandchildren; Chevon (Chris) Burns, Richard (Brandi) Scott, Ashley (Jay) Platten, Jayme Setters, Mandy Scott and Parker Thompson and his great grandchildren; Lucas and Ashton Burns and Dominic Platten, also Debbie Setters, mother of Ashley and Jayme. Pat was predeceased by his mother and father, Bessie and Robert, as well as eleven brothers and sisters. A Public Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 5508 - 48A Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation will follow at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
