SHELTON Mr. Leandra “Andy” Shelton passed away in Fort St. John, BC on September 19, 2006 at the age of 91 years. Andy was born in Estin, SK, November 11, 1915 to Walter and Harriet (Eyre) Shelton. He joined the Army and served overseas. After the war, Andy worked for Intercontinental Packers for over thirty years in Saskatoon, Regina and Red Deer. He loved to camp and fish. Andy took a great interest in what his children and grandchildren were doing as they were his life. Andy is survived by three daughters Joyce (Bud) Johnson, Shirley (Robert) Jones, and Karen Sveinson, seven stepchildren June (Red) Arnold, George Evans, Patricia (Ken) Youck Sheila Krieger, Terry (Mary Rose) Evans, Trevor (Debbie) Evans and Susan (Reiner) Welz as well as numerous grand- children, great grandchildren and a daughter-in-law Charlotte. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Kay and then by his beloved wife of 32 years Emma (Evans), four brothers, Bill, Walter, Henry ( Harry) and infant Joe, one sister, Elizabeth at a young age, one son, Earl Langridge and one grandson, Dwayne Langridge. Funeral services for Leandra “Andy” Shelton will be held from the Chapel of Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 – 67 A Street, Red Deer, Alberta at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2006. Interment will follow in the Alto Reste Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Red Deer County. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society, 4730 A – Ross Street, Red Deer, AB, T4N 1X2.
