Shirley OLIVER

OLIVER, Shirley Grace Oliver of Red Deer, formerly of Camrose, Alberta, passed away peacefully after a brief illness at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Monday, February 13, 2006 at the age of 71 years. Shirley was born on July 13, 1934 at Hughenden, Alberta. She was a very loving, giving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. Shirley loved her family with all her heart and devoted her life to their care. She had a heart of gold and loved to give to others and she also had a very forgiving heart. She loved bargains and spent many enjoyable hours shopping in Thrift Stores and also loved going to bingos. Shirley will be very sadly missed but lovingly remembered and forever cherished in the hearts of her family and dear friends. Shirley leaves to mourn her loss, her loving children; three sons, Ken (Rebecca) Comis of Port Hardy, British Columbia, Darrell (Lynne) Comis of Red Deer and Art (Ruby) Oliver of Tofield, Alberta, her daughter, Sheryl Oliver, also of Red Deer, numerous grandchildren and one great granddaughter. She will also be very sadly missed by her brother, Ken, sisters, Nola and Bev, as well as numerous other family members and many dear friends. A Gathering for Family and Friends will be held at a later date. Cremation entrusted to the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
