SOBODA Mrs. Ada Bertha Soboda of Red Deer, formally of New Glasgow, Nova Scotia passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2006 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre at the age of 92 years. Bertha leaves to cherish her memory one son Robert (Diane) George and Muriel Stewart of Red Deer, five grandchildren Cynthia (Richard) Garvreau, Paula (Mark) Bertimini, Jennifer (Clayton) Leonard, Laura (Greg) Krauss and Daniel George, seven great grandchildren, Nathan Gauvreau, Brent Gauvreau, Parker Bertimini, Jonah Leonard, Grace Leonard, Claire Leonard and Hanah Krauss. Bertha was predeceased by her oldest child Dorothy, two husbands Everett George and Frank Soboda. The family would like to extend special Thanks to the Alzheimers Group at Bethany College Side, Dr. Thomas and staff in the emergency department of the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre and Dr. Metcalf and nurses of Unit 33. As well, many Thanks to Dorothy and Eddie from Homecare. A funeral service for the Late Ada Bertha Soboda will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2006 at 3:30 pm from The Chapel of Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 – 67A Street, Red Deer, Alberta with the Venerable rchdeacon Derek Hoskin officiating. Burial and services will also be held from St. Georges Anglican Church in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia at a later date. Condolences can be forwarded to the family at www.parklandfuneralhome.com.
